Setting the Wi-Fi name (SSID) and password:
1) From any page, open the menu and select System > Wireless.
2) Select the SSID Data Field.
3) Input the desired Wi-Fi SSID name for the PED to connect to.
4) Select the Password Data Field.
5) Input the desired Wi-Fi password for the PED to use when connecting to the MFI.
Updating databases through Garmin Pilot (Database Concierge):
1) Prepare a mobile device with the Garmin Pilot mobile application and updated databases.
See the Garmin Pilot for iOS or Garmin Pilot for Android user manual for details.
2) Connect the mobile device to the MFI.
3) From any page, open the menu and select the System Button. Then, select the
Databases Button.
4) Select the Update Button.
5) Select the Connext Button.
6) Select the database(s) to update. Touch the Update Button.
7) Wait for databases to update. A progress bar is shown for each selected update.
8) When all database updates are complete, select the Restart Unit Button. It is safe to
disconnect the mobile device at this time.
