Runway Extensions
Runway extensions are always displayed on the 'HSI Map' Page depending on map range and
detail level. Runway extensions may be displayed on the 'Map' Page at the pilot' s discretion,
by enabling/disabling and changing the range display settings. Runway Extensions, when
enabled, will be depicted under the following conditions:
» Flight plan information is displayed and the enroute waypoint after the active leg is an
airport.
» Flight plan information is displayed with an arrival or approach to the destination
airport.
» Direct-to navigation to an airport is active.
Enabling/disabling the display of runway extensions:
1) From the 'Map' Page, open the menu and select Map Options > Aviation Options.
2) Select the Runway EXT Button to enable/disable the display of runway extensions on
the map.
3) If necessary, select the Runway EXT RNG Button to display a list of range settings.
Select the desired range display setting.
SafeTaxi
If configured, SafeTaxi information is always displayed on the 'HSI Map' Page depending
on map range and detail level. SafeTaxi information may be displayed on the 'Map' Page at the
pilot' s discretion, by enabling/disabling and changing the range display settings.

Enabling/disabling the display of SafeTaxi information:
1) From the 'Map' Page, open the menu and select Map Options > Aviation Options.
2) Select the SafeTaxi Button to enable/disable the display of SafeTaxi information on the
map.
3) If necessary, select the SafeTaxi RNG Button to display a list of range settings. Select the
desired range display setting.
