The D2
™
Pilot Watch can be connected to the MFI through a Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE)
network. Once connected, the following information is sent real-time to the D2
• Indicated Airspeed (IAS)
• True Airspeed (TAS)
• Vertical Speed
• Pressure Altitude
• Wind Speed
The D2
Watch must be 'paired' with the MFI in order to use the various functions.

Pairing is accomplished once for each device. After the initial pairing, with 'Auto-Reconnect'
enabled, your D2
™
Watch will automatically reconnect with the MFI. The pairing operation
is completed from the D2
and one BLE device. For D2
NOTE: The aircraft must be on the ground to pair the D2
NOTE: The wireless card on the MFI may take up to two minutes after startup before
wireless functionality is available.
Pairing the D2
Watch with the MFI:
™
1) Place the D2 Watch in pairing mode. Reference the operating manual for the D2
for detailed pairing instructions.
2) On the MFI, open the menu and select System > Wireless.
3) Scroll down and select Pair a Device. On the 'Pair Device' Screen, the MFI will display
its Bluetooth name and prompt the pilot to "Please remain on this page while pairing
your Bluetooth device."
