If you need to descale the device, do this:
1. Clamp the device onto a cooking vessel as instructed in the Instructions for use
section and add water up to the MAX mark.
2. Set the cooking temperature to 80 °C (149 °F).
3. Add 2–3 tablespoons of white/spirit vinegar (12%).
4. Let the water circulate for 20 minutes after the set temperature has been reached.
5. Turn off the device, unplug the lead from the wall socket and let the device cool
down to room temperature.
6. When cool, rinse with clean water, and dry completely before putting it away.

The water level is below the "MIN" mark.
Turn off the device and unplug it from the
wall socket. Add water to a level between
the "MIN" and "MAX" marks. Plug the
mains lead back in and switch the device
on.
The device has overheated. Turn off the
device and unplug it from the wall socket.
Add more water if necessary. Let the de-
vice cool down for a few minutes and plug
it in to the wall socket again and turn it on.
