SETTING UP YOUR MACHINE

A l w a y s d i s c o n n e c t t h e
machine from power supply
by removing the plug from
the electrical outlet.
Be sure to wipe off any surplus oil from
n e e d l e p l a t e a r e a b e f o r e u s i n g y o u r
machine the first time.
POWER LINE CORD/FOOT CONTROL
Connect the plug of the power line cord into
the cord socket (1) and your wall outlet (2)
as illustrated. Connect the foot control plug
(3) into the machine socket.
NOTE:When foot control is disconnected,
the machine will not operate.

afgebeeld is. Sl u i t de stekker van het voetpedaal (3)
aan op de machineingang.
OPMERKING: Wanneer het voetpedaal
wordt losgemaakt, zal de machine niet
functioneren.
POWER/LIGHT SWITCH
Your machine will not operate until the
power/light switch is turned on. The same
switch controls both the power and the
light. When servicing the machine, or
changing needles, etc., machine must be
disconnected from the power supply.
AAN/UIT-SCHAKELAAR
Uw machine werkt alleen als de aan/uit-schakelaar
op aan staat. Met deze schakelaar zet u zowel
het licht als demachine aan. Zet altijd de aan/uit-
schakelaar op uit als u de machine schoonmaakt
of alleen moet laten staan.

Bevor Sie die Maschine zum ersten Mal
benutzen, wischen Sie bitte überschüssiges
Öl ab, das sich während des Transports im
Stichplattenbereich ansammeln kann.
ELEKTRISCHER ANSCHLUSS /
FUSSANLASSER
Schließen Sie den Netzstecker (1) der Maschine
an die Steckdose (2) wie abgebildet. Schließen
Sie den Stecker (3) des Fußanlassers an die
Anschlussbuchse der Nähmaschine an.
HINWEIS: Bei nicht angeschlossenem
Fußanlasser kann die Nähmaschine nicht in
Betrieb genommen werden.

HAUPTSCHALTER
Ihre Maschine näht nur, wenn der Hauptschalter
eingeschaltet ist. Durch den Hauptschalter wird
auch das Nählicht aus- und eingeschaltet. Bei
Wartungsarbeiten oder beim Auswechseln von
Nadel oder Nählicht muss die Maschine durch
Ziehen des Netzsteckers aus der Steckdose vom
Netz getrennt werden.
