16.2 Change saw blade

In the following causes the blade to be changed:
 You need to change to a different type of blade for better cutting result.
 You replace a worn saw blade by a new one
ATTENTION: Use only saw blades with
max. diameter Ø of 305mm

max. thickness of 3mm

Ø 30 mm inner diameter

max. RPM of the saw blade must be at least 4200min

To eliminate the risk of cuts, wear protective gloves when
 Ste cutting head in raise position.
 Open the lower blade guard (1) completely
 Loosen the locking screw (2) and slide the cover (3) backwards so that the flange screw (4)
can be reached.
 Press the spindle interlock slightly and rotate the blade until the spindle interlock locks.
 Loosen the flange bolt by turning it clockwise.
 Remove the flange bolt and flange.
 Remove the blade from the shaft.
 Install the new blade onto the spindle and pay attention to the right direction!
 Place the flange bolt and flange and tighten it by turning counterclockwise.

16.3 Change the carbon brush

If the motor becomes loud or even does not start anymore,
the carbon brushes are probably worn.
If the carbon brush is worn (<4mm) you need to replace
the 2 carbon brushes. 2 carbon brushes are include. It is no
warranty case.
Memorize the direction of the carbon brushes when
removing them.
 Open the carbon brush holder (1) at the motor (2).
 Change carbon brush (3)
 Close the carbon brush holder
