Verify Hardware Installation

1. Verify the spectrum analyzer application loads and sweeps as expected.
2. Press System, Show Hard ware on the analyzer and verify that Option N9010A-MTU,
Multi-touch user interface, is installed.

Adjustments, and Performance Verification

Adjustments and performance verification testing requires the use of the calibration software. The
latest software information and downloads are available at:

Option MTU and MTP, MultiTouch User Interface Upgrade Kits
The X-Series Signal Analyzer Calibration Files are located on the disk drive. Therefore,
replacement of the disk drive will invalidate the current instrument calibration if the original
calibration file has not been backed-up and restored. However, a full calibration is required to
assure that the instrument meets all specifications. Arrangements regarding the level of
calibration must be made between the end user and the calibration provider
