  • Page 3 N9010AK-MTP - MultiTouch User Interface Upgrade with PC7 CPU The N9010AK-MTU should only be installed on N9010As that already have the PC6 or PC7 CPU. This kit includes a new SSD, to ensure that when a disk drive recovery is performed, the software version recovered will be new enough to recognize the MultiTouch front panel assembly.

If the N9010A-MTU upgrade is being performed, skip to "Replacing Solid State Drive (SSD) - N9010A-MTU Upgrade Only".

If the instrument software was not updated, continue with the procedure below.

You will need to confirm this selection by selecting 1 and Enter one more time. 6. The programming of the FPGA code could take a few minutes to complete. Once it has finished the instrument will reboot itself to use the new code.

With the instrument turned on and the signal analyzer application running as normal, connect a USB mouse to one of the instrument USB ports. 2. Connect the USB memory device that was earlier used to backup the instrument calibration data to one of the instrument USB ports.
  • Page 24 Option MTU and MTP, MultiTouch User Interface Upgrade Kits Calibration Data Backup to SD Card The PC7 processor assembly contains an internal SD card for the purpose of providing a location to back up the calibration data. After the PC7 assembly is installed and the calibration data from the previously installed processor assembly has been restored, another backup should be performed, this time to the SD card.
