Description
PROFIBUS PA segments
Advanced diagnostic module (ADM) on fieldbus Power Hub
motherboard.
Gateway module on gateway motherboard.
Server or Cabinet PC on which the FieldConnex
Server (FDS) is running. The Server is connected to the
advanced diagnostic module via the RS-485 diagnostic bus.
Description
Application on which the plant management or operator
system is running. An OPC-DA client can also be running
here.
Host application for the FDT frame.
Device which provides the connection between serial Ethernet
and RS–485. Since the FDS works on a serial COM port, a
converter is needed to connect the FDS with the RS–485
diagnostic bus in the cabinet.
