3.3 Black Mark Setup
You could enable or disable the black mark function with the setup tool or the DIP switch.
(1) After the black mark is enabled, the self-test will display the following information:
BM Information:
Black mark mode
BM Sensor Select
Print Position
Cut Position
CAUTION: After the black mark and the cutter are enabled, the printer will
position the black mark sensor and then performs one cutting. You could
disable the BM position and afterwards cutting via the setup tool.
(2) When the BM is disabled, the self-test will display:
Black Mark Mode :NO
CAUTION: If the self-test page has the "BM information" section, the printer
is installed with a black mark sensor. Users could turn on the black mark with
the tool or the DIP switch.
(3) Black mark settings:
①.Use Black Mark:enable or disable the black mark.
②.Modify the position.
a. Print Start Position: set the position from the black mark to the printing start point.
b. Cutter Start Position:set the position from the black mark to the cutting point.
③.Black Mark Auto Locate: Whenever power on the printer or pressing down the upper cover,
the printer will automatically locate the black mark.
Unclick the "Black Mark Auto Locate" Option, and enter "Write" can disable the black mark
automatic locating function..
④.Cut Paper After Black Mark Auto Locate:Whenever power on the printer or pressing down
the upper cover, the printer will cut paper once after automatically locating the black mark.
Unclick the "Use Black Mark" Option, and enter "Write" can disable the black mark.
You have to enable the cutter via the switches so as to enable "Cut Paper
After Black Mark Auto Locate" function.
