• Shake: Turn ON or OFF the ability to Auto Freeze and Analyze when probe image is
unsteady. Shake should be OFF when testing bulkhead couplers.
• MPO mode: Turn ON when inspecting ribbon fibers (MPO/MPT connectors). Create
New Group for each MPO ribbon and Capture to save an image for each strand.
To save the fiber picture on the screen, tap the screen.
DI-1000 Fiber Scope
When the DI-1000 Fiber Scope is plugged into USB, a blue LED will emit. The
round FOCUS knob is on top. Turn right or left to focus.
DI-1000 MPO Fiber Scope
When the DI-1000 MPO Fiber Scope is plugged into USB, a blue LED will emit. To
focus, rotate the vertical control dial (top half) clockwise to trigger the camera
positioning to travel downward, and for counterclockwise, to travel upward. The
focusing dial (bottom half) zooms in and out respectively by rotating clockwise and
counterclockwise. The horizontal (side) knob provides left and right direction
positioning respectively by rotating it forward and backward.
VS-500 Fiber Scope
When the VS-500 Fiber Scope is plugged into USB, the white LED spotlight will
turn ON automatically. A blue LED will emit from the camera. The FOCUS
adjustment is located on the left side. The spotlight ON/OFF, image contrast
Up/Down buttons, and Freeze/Save buttons are on top. For more instructions on
