Calibration
Calibration is the process of ad-
apting control to the effective
tyre radii of the front and rear
wheels.
Effective tyre radius
Effective tyre radius depends
z
on tyre make, tread depth, tyre
press and the load carried on
the vehicle.
Always re-calibrate the ASC
after changing a tyre or tyres
to adapt the system to the
changed tyre radii.
As tyre wear progresses, reg-
ularly re-calibrate the ASC so
that it can operate as effect-
ively as possible.
It is not necessary to recalib-
rate the system after remov-
ing and reinstalling a wheel to
which no changes have been
made, for example when a
wheel is removed so that the
brakes can be serviced.

Requirement
Reduced reserves of stability
of ASC control following a tyre
change.
ASC Switching on (
SETUP ASC ON appears on the
