Collective terms for the device types

In this document, the devices on in the table on the previous page may be referred
to collectively as follows.
The term "Synco 700 type RM... controllers", or "RM... controllers" for short, refers
collectively to the following types:
• Universal controllers
• Heating controllers
• Boiler sequence controllers
• Central control units
• Switching and monitoring device
The term "RXB/RXL room controllers" or "RX... room controllers" refers collectively
to the following types:
• Room controllers
• Room controllers
The term "OZW77x central communication units" refers collectively to the following
types:
• Central communication units
• Central communication unit
The term "Synco bus devices" refers collectively to the following types:
• Synco 700 controllers
• Room controllers
• Room unit
• Bus operator unit
• Central communication units
• Synco 900 central apartment unit
"Bus devices" include the Synco bus devices (see above) and devices from third-
party manufacturers. Bus units use a KNX network address.
