III. SAFETY INFORMATION
When using any electrical appliance, the below basic precautions should always be followed:
1.
Read all instructions before using.
2.
Before use checks that the voltage power corresponds to the one shown on the
appliance nameplate.
3.
Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before cleaning
the appliance.
4.
Do not let cord hang over edge of that table or counter, or touch hot surface.
5.
Place the appliance on the flat surface. Do not place on the heated surface.
6.
To protect against electric shock, do not immerse cord, plug and Sandwich Maker in
water or other liquid.
7.
Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
8.
Never insert oversized food or metal foil or other utensils into the appliance.
9.
Do not touch hot surface. Use handle or knobs only.
10. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance
malfunctions. Return the appliance to the nearest authorized service center for examination,
repair or adjustment.
11. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service
agent or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
12. The appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they
have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and
understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and
user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised.
13. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years.
14.
Do not use outdoors.
15.
Do not use the appliance for other than intended use.
16. This appliance is intended to be used only in kitchens.
17. The appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate
remote-control system.
18. Save these instructions.
