4.7 Auxiliary Hydraulics

The TSV models come equipped with an auxil-
iary hydraulic system designed to power
approved hydraulic attachments.
To operate, connect the attachment to the
appropriate quick couplers (fig. 4.7-1).
To connect couplers:
1. Clean couplers thoroughly (both ends).
2. Release residual pressure in the system by
pressing item 1 (fig. 4.7-1).
3. Push the male and female coupler ends together, then turn coupler collar 1/4
turn to lock.
The standard (flow) auxiliary hydraulics can be engaged intermittently or continu-
ously depending on the requirements of the attachment being utilized.
To engage the hydraulic flow intermittently, activate the toggle-type switch on the
top of the right joystick (fig. 4.7-2).
To engage the hydraulic flow continuously, activate the 3-position switch on the
dash panel, labeled 2 in figure 4.7-3.
To engage the optional high flow continuously, activate the 3-position switch on
the dash panel, labeled 3 in figure 4.7-3.
Note: Moving either switch from one position to the other has the effect of
reversing flow through the auxiliary hydraulic circuit.
Note: The continuous flow switches must be in their neutral positions in order to
start the engine.
Note: The continuous flow auxiliary switches have a small orange locking mecha-
nism that must be disengaged before the switch will activate.
