4.10 Emergency Exits

throughout the cab enclosure prior to operation. These features allow an operator
to escape from the cab in an emergency.

dow molding on the front door. Pull on the tag forcefully to remove the window
molding, then push or kick the window out to escape (fig. 4.10-1).
Operator Escape (Rear Window Exit): Firmly grasp the triangular tag attached to
the window molding on the rear window. Pull on the tag forcefully to remove the
window molding, then push or kick the window out to escape (fig. 4.10-2).

4.11 Manual Lift Arm Lowering Valve

The lift arms on the TSV 70-80 can be manually lowered from within the cab if
the machine becomes disabled with the lift arms in the raised position.
To lower lift arms:
1.
Make certain all bystanders are clear of the normal movement path of the lift
arms and any attachment that may be fastened to the quick attach.
2.
Reach down into the right rear corner of the footwell and pull forward on the
red knob on the lowering valve (fig. 4.11-1).
3.
Hold the knob in this position until the lift arms come to rest against the
chassis stops, then release the knob.
Note: The valve is progressive, meaning the rate at which the lift arm lowers
increases as you pull the knob further away from the valve body. However, the
valve is designed to lower the lift arms in a slow, controlled manner even when
fully open.
