6. Troubleshooting

FAULT
The device does not start
The electric motor runs in
the wrong direction
The input conveyor does
not work
The cutting does not work
The saw cuts poorly
The saw does not stop
The splitting does not work
The motion of the pusher
lacks speed or power
Translation
POSSIBLE CAUSE
E – burnt fuse
E – tripped motor protection switch
TR – ratchet in the power take-off shaft
TR – power transmission fault
Incorrect rotation direction due to the
phase sequence
The conveyor belt is loose
The series connection loop hose is
missing
The hydraulic measuring device is
jammed
The splitting area guard is open
The saw bar lowering speed is low
There is either no or too little oil
The chain/saw bar is damaged
Adjustments/operation of the saw
valve
The splitting area guard is (slightly)
open
The saw bar is damaged/worn and the
blade does not cut straight
The saw valve does not return to the
middle position
The splitting area guard is open
There is either no or too little oil
Dirt or debris under/behind the pusher
The splitting valve's adjustments have
changed
There is either no or too little hydraulic
oil
The oil is too cold
The speeding valve does not change
the power
The switching of the splitting force

MEASURE
Replace the fuse
Wait for the motor to cool
Replace the shaft (2.5 B)
Check the multiplier gear and the
pump sleeve
Switch the direction from the device
jack (2.5 B)
Tighten the conveyor belt (5.4 I)
Install the loop hose (2.7 A)
Return the plate to the front
position
Close the guard (3.3)
Increase the saw bar lowering
speed (3.4)
Check the level of hydraulic oil
(5.3 A)
Perform blade maintenance
(5.3.1)
Check the saw valve (5.4.1)
Remove debris and close the
guard (3.3)
Perform blade
maintenance/replace the saw bar
(5.3.1)
Check the adjustments (5.4.1)
Close the guard (3.3)
