5.2 First maintenance

In order to ensure a long service life for your machine, we recommend replacing the hydraulic oil filter
in conjunction with the first 200 hr maintenance. This ensures that all impurities are removed from the
system.

5.3 Daily maintenance (10 hrs)

The daily maintenance is intended to be performed between instances of use. The maintenance
consists of checking the fluid levels and the cutting and splitting knives, and testing the operation of the
machine and safety equipment. Test the operation of the machine and its safety equipment in
accordance with section 3.2.
Only perform these tasks when the machine is inactive and the power source is disconnected.
A. Check the fluid levels.
Volume of the blade lubrication tank 9 l,
hydraulic oil, check using the dipstick, fill through
cap B. Capacity 140 l.
C. Splitting knife.
Lift the knife to the upper position and open the
splitting guard in order to facilitate inspection.
Sharpen the knife if necessary (5.3.2).
ALWAYS DEACTIVATE THE MACHINE AND DISCONNECT THE POWER SOURCE BEFORE
PERFORMING MAINTENANCE!

B. Cleaning.
Clean the top of the machine, the area below the
machine and the conveyor of dust and debris. Pay
particular attention to the area below the sawdust
grille and knife.
D. Cutting blade.
Open the locking latch of the blade guard. The
guard turns to the front. Sharpen the knife if
necessary (5.3.1).
