5.4.4 Adjusting the conveyor's relief valve

All 485 models are equipped with a hydraulic output conveyor and a pressure relief valve that prevents
the conveyor from being damaged if jammed. If the conveyor is overloaded, the valve engages a
bypass.

5.4.5 Adjusting the switching of splitting power

All 485 models feature two splitting cylinders. When the 8-tonne splitting force is insufficient, the
machine should automatically switch to 24-tonne splitting. If the switch function does not work and the
splitting only applies 8 tonnes of force, adjust the mechanism.

5.5 Annual maintenance (1,000 hrs)

The 1,000 hr maintenance is intended to be performed once or twice a year, after approx. every 100–
150 days of use. The aim is to go through the entire machine, replace filters and perform adjustments.
The 200 hr maintenance tasks are also performed at the same time (5.4). Check all hydraulic hoses for
leaks or damage, and replace damaged hoses immediately!
