Description of electrical system
A safety switch for the cutting deck is also con-
nected to Cable 1. This switch detects if the cutting
deck is in place and that the hook that secures the
cutting deck in place on the machine is locked.
If this switch does not send an OK signal (+5 V)
to CCU, it will not be possible to start the cutting
deck.

Coupling between Cables 1 and 2
There is also a four-pole connector located about
in the middle of these to cables (Cables 1 and
2), which couple the two cables together. The
signals sent between Cables 1 and 2 are signals
for starting the cutting deck. The signal from the
seat switch is sent between the cables that go to
connector D2. The brown lead is an output signal
from CCU (D12) for starting the cutting deck. Two
microswitches are mounted on the cutting deck
that are fitted so that they switch from OFF to ON
by activating the cutting deck. Switch 1 sends a
+5 V signal via the gray lead in to A1 to request
start of the cutting deck. CCU then sends a signal
via connector D12 that goes via the brown lead to
the microswitch.

From this switch, the start signals then go via two
yellow leads down to the four pole connectors and
is coupled to the cutting motor control.
+5V
At the other end of Cable 1 (CCU side) there is a
connector that is to be coupled to the CCU con-
nector position D. There are two blue leads and
two black ones that are coupled to the common
negative connection (GND). There are also two
thicker red leads that connect to the 80 A fuse on
the rear carriage, these leads current to the cutting
motor controls.
An orange lead continues from Cable 1 via a flat
pin transition to Cable 2. This lead feeds +5 V to
the various microswitches, the potentiometer and
the control panel.
