2.12 Cutting Power

WARNING!
Working on a live machine can
cause lethal injury
The power must be disconnected from the
machine when conducting some of the tests.
Observe great care during these procedures.
Power to the machine must also be disconnected
when carrying out other work to reduce the risk of
short circuits.
Remove covers to access the batteries, see "6.2".
Disconnect the cables from the positive terminals
as illustrated below in order to ensure the machine
is not live.
