If +5 V is on the orange lead, couple the connector
from the battery charger and measure on the back
of the green lead connection. If +5 V is not on the
green, go to the next item.

If there is no voltage on the green lead in connec-
tor A, the connector on the battery charger must
be opened. Disconnect the charger from the mains
(230V), open the connector that is for coupling
to the machine and make sure there is a strap
between pins 3 and 4. If fitted, the voltage on pin 3
crosses to pin 4 when the connector is coupled to
the machine.
