8.4.3. JSON(OSC) Remote Control

This topic describes a method for remote control modeled losely after the Sennheiser® Sound

Control protocol. Detailed background information on the underlying technology can be found on

the Sennheiser® website.

The AVB Tool can be remote controlled with HTTP POST requests. Each request carries a data payload

that contains a JSON object modeled after the open sound control (OSC) protocol.

For example, if the device is connected to a computer that can run cURL in a terminal application

(Microsoft Windows™ PowerShell or Apple macOS™ Terminal), the following command will request the

entire device schema as a JSON object:
