1. Ensure the Enraf FlexLine Gauge is switched off or that the Remote Indicator is
disconnected.
2. Loosen the end cap lock, and unscrew the end cap from the display side of the
Remote Indicator housing.
3. Carefully depress the two tabs on the sides of the Display Module, and pull it off.
4. Set the write protect jumper and the failsafe jumper to the desired behavior. See
Table 11 for jumper positioning.
5. Reinstall the Display Module as follows:
Orient the display as desired.
Install the Interface Connector in the Display Module such that it will mate
with the socket for the display in the Communication Module.
Carefully line up the display, and snap it into place. Verify that the two tabs
on the sides of the display latch.
6. Screw on the end cap and tighten the end cap lock.
7. Reconnect the Remote Indicator or switch on the Enraf FlexLine Gauge.
The integrated circuits in the Remote Indicator PWA are vulnerable to damage by stray
static discharges. Minimize the possibility of static discharge damage when handling the PWA
as follows:
Do not touch the gold contacts on the PWA when setting the Jumpers.
Orient the display for proper viewing through the end cap window. You can rotate the
display mounting orientation in 90
