Disconnect wiring by pulling on body of spade connector only and not the wire itself.

capacitors on the printed circuit board are fully discharged. To do this, turn the flow
control knob fully 'ON' and 'OFF' again after the power has been isolated from the
unit.

lever off the temperature knob,
temperature trim and flow knob.
Unscrew the cover retaining
screw and remove the cover by
pulling the bottom of the cover in
an outward and upward direction.
