O REMOVE THE MOTHERBOARD BATTERY
When you handle electronic components, follow electrostatic discharge (ESD) precautions
(see
page
10).
1 Remove the imagePASS from the copier (see

done so.

4 Locate the motherboard battery and the metal clip that holds the battery in place.
5 Pull the metal clip away from the battery (see

6 Remove the battery from the socket and release the clip.

2 Insert the battery in the socket with the positive (+) side facing up.
Make sure that the battery snaps into place and that the clip holds the battery securely in
place.
