Absolute value encoder

Absolute value encoders can detect the speed, the rotor position, and the machine position
with a very high resolution. They are used for the positioning of dynamic applications and do
not require homing.
With the aid of the open feedback protocol HIPERFACE DSL® and in connection
with the digital absolute value encoder AM20‑8V‑D, the motor supports the
future-oriented One Cable Technology (OCT).
