Use this menu to commission a replacement device without interrupting the running process.
An automatic initialization that could impair running operation will not take place.
To do so, you only set the most important characteristics for the positioner, e.g. nominal
stroke and actual position, and start the control function. Initialize the new positioner as soon
as possible after device replacement in order to ensure the following properties:
● Optimum adjustment of the positioner to the mechanical and dynamic properties of the
