DATE
Purpose
Allows you to change the date known to the system.
Form
DATE [<mm>-<dd>-<yy>]
Description
If you type DATE and depress the RETURN key the
following message will appear:
1.
Current date is mm-dd-yy
Enter new date:
Depress the RETURN key if you do not want to change the
date shown.
If you want to change the date enter the number of the
month followed by a hyphen, the number of day followed
by a hyphen and all four digits of the year or only the
last two.
Hyphens may be substituted for slashes (/).
2. You can also type a particular date after entering
DATE and before depressing the RETURN key.
