Open the packaging box and carefully remove the appliance. Check if the contents
are complete and undamaged. Check that no plastic product parts are cracked and
the power cord is not damaged. If any part is missing or damaged, do not use the
appliance and contact the seller on how to proceed. Keep the packaging for future
use or dispose of it in accordance with local regulations concerning waste material.
Caution! Keep your children safe: do not leave any parts of the pac-
kaging readily accessible (i.e. plastic bags, cardboard boxes, polysty-
rene inserts, etc.)! Choking/asphyxiation hazard!
7.1 FIRST STEPS
1. Unwind the power core from the base. Set the power base on a flat, dry and firm
surface
2. Fill the cordless electric kettle with clean water to the MAX level mark.
3. Before first using fill the kettle to the MAX level and boil water as instructed in
Section 7.4. Completely empty the water. Repeat thi first step 2 to 4 times
4. Connect the power cord to a wall outlet.
Caution! Always disonnect the appliance from the power mains when filling
or topping up with water. Splashing water on the power base of the stainless
steel cordless electric kettle is an electric shock/electrocution hazard!
7.2 TURNING POWER ON AND OFF
Remember to boil clean water 2 to 4 times before the first use. (See 7.1 , „First
steps".)
1. Turn on the appliance by setting the On/Off switch to „I". The appliance will turn
off automatically once the water is boiled. The kettle chamber window is lit blue
when on.
