Installing a CompactFlash Card

The CompactFlash ( CF ) slot supports only the ADTRAN-provided 1 GB CompactFlash card. Follow these
instructions when installing a card.
The CompactFlash card is not hot-swappable. Power must be removed from the unit
before the CompactFlash card is inserted or removed.
Step
1 Remove power from the unit.
2 Remove the two screws and the cover from the CF slot on the rear of the unit.
3 Slide the module into the CF slot until the card is firmly seated against the chassis.
4 Replace the CF slot cover.
5 Restore power to the unit.
6 The CompactFlash options will now be available in the GUI and the AOS CLI.
