5. Approvals

5.1 Approval standards

The standard versions of SL1 and SLV pumps have been tested by VDE and approved by LGA (notified body
under the Construction Products Directive) according to EN 12050-1 or EN 12050-2 as specified on the pump
nameplate.

5.2 Explanation to the Ex approval

The explosion-proof versions have been approved by KEMA according to the ATEX directive. The explosion
protection classification of the pump is CE 0344 Ex II 2 G Ex d IIB T4 X.
