b. From the pull-down menu, select a Bond Mode.
Bond modes are:
bond-mode 0 (Round Robin): transmits packets in a sequential order from the first available
slave through the last.
bond-mode 4 (LACP - Dynamic Link Aggregation - 802.3ad): creates aggregated groups that
share the same speed and duplex settings. This mode requires a switch that supports IEEE
802.3ad Dynamic Link.
bond-mode 6 (ALB - Active Load Balancing): includes transmit load balancing (balance-tlb)
and receive load balancing (rlb) for IPv4 traffic. Receive load balancing is achieved by ARP
negotiation. The bonding driver intercepts the ARP replies sent by the server on their way out
and overwrites the source hardware address with the unique hardware address of one of the
slaves in the bond such that different clients use different hardware addresses for the server.
c. Enter a Link Monitoring Interval (in milliseconds).
The default link monitoring interval is 100ms and can be incremented by 10.
d. Click Bond.
