3-7 Recharging the battery

The battery is discharged completely after measuring the backup time, so recharge is
required before using the UPS.

You can use connected devices while recharging the battery, but the backup time
when a power outage occurs is shorter until the battery is fully charged.
(If a power outage occurs immediately after the start of charging, backup stops
immediately.)
Charge the battery as described in "3-5 Charging the battery".
Preparation for starting operation is now complete.
