Introduction
These Release Notes provide the following information:
Descriptions of some Lights-Out Management commands that were not included
in the Netra T1 AC200 and DC200 Server User's Guide (part number 806-5978-10).
Instructions for re-installing Solaris 8 (10/00), and also for re-installing the Lights-
Out Management (LOM) software, onto the Netra T1 server with the patches you
require.
Safety information about using the system configuration card.
Note on the new fan configuration inside the Netra T1 server.
Tips on installing hard disk drives.
Product limitations.
Note –
If you are re-installing Solaris 8 (10/00), and you intend to use the Lights-
Out Management (LOM) facilities, you must re-install the LOM software from the
CD entitled Software Supplement for the Solaris 8 Operating Environment. If you do not
do this, the LOMlite2 facilities will not be available and layered applications that are
dependent on them (for example, Sun Management Center and the Sun Netra SNMP
agent) will not function correctly. For more information, see "Re-installing the
Lights-Out Management (LOM) Software" on page 6.
