When storing the USC Seed Wheel for long periods of time, the following procedure
must be followed to reduce the chance of rust, corrosion and fatigue of the machine.
You can also use these steps when storing the machine for the winter.
A dust mask and protective rubber gloves shall be used when
cleaning the machine.
1. Disconnect Power
2. Remove shields from the seed wheel and remove any debris or build-up.
Compressed air can be used to blow out any foreign material.
3. Re-connect power and run seed wheel to help remove any additional debris.

4. Check brushes (below).
5. Wipe off and clean the lens of the proximity switches (below).
6. Disconnect Power and mount all guards back in place.
7. Tarp or cover the seed wheel to keep out any dirt or unwanted pests.
