cautiOn
1. if the chain is too much
loose to adjust its tension,
remove the offset link (25.4
mm) from the chain.
2. Set up the left and right el-
evating rakes as shown in
the figure so that they will
not collide when they are
raised up inside of the reap-
ing unit.
The 'a' rakes should be placed between
the 'b' rakes.
3. if improperly adjusted, they
will be broken.

(A) Adjust the stopper to cover the slit
The tension of the chain will auto-
matically be adjusted by its spring.
When the tension becomes loose
or the slit becomes visible, move
to the stopper to let the slit and
shaft can slightly touch each other.
