1. When disconnecting the battery
cables, disconnect the negative (-)
ground cable first. Otherwise you
may short the circuit.
2. When connecting the battery
cables, connect the positive (+)
cable first. Then, connect the
negative (-) cable.

bles to the wrong terminals. Do-
ing so will damage the electric
system.
4. Only use the specified battery.
5. Connect the battery cables as
the cables were originally con-
nected. Never allow the positive
(+) cable to touch any sharp cor-
ners of other parts.
