(1) Fan Belt
(2) Alternator Holding Bolts
Push the middle of the belt with
your thumb (10 kgf) and see how
much the belt deflects. If the belt
deflects more than the acceptable
range, loosen the alternator hold-
ing bolts and move the alternator
to set up the right tension on the
belt. Then, tighten up the bolts
again.

When the overheating alarm
sounds, remove straw debris
on the dust screens, radiator
fins and oil cooler fins with com-
pressed air or a soft brush.
Open the dust screen to clean
the paddy and dust on the in-
ternal separating net and water
tank.
Regularly clean the dust screen
inside and outside; otherwise it
5 ~ 10 mm
would be easy to cause engine
overheating.

(2) Radiator Fins
cautiOn
1. don't clean the radiator fins
with a hard tool such as iron
spatula or screw driver. do-
ing so may damage the fins
and reduce the radiator's
heat exchange efficiency.
2. keep water away from the
air cleaner. if water goes
into the air cleaner, the en-
gine may be damaged.
