Cause
• The media was loaded
outside the range of valid
positions.
• Negative pressure sensor
automatic recognition failed.
• A failure occurred while
connecting the cutter head
and the connecting unit.
• The cutter head could not be
moved due to a connection
failure between the cutter
head and the connecting unit.
• The pinch roller position
detection failed.
• The ionizer internal circuit is
defective, or an abnormal
discharge occurred.
• The amount of generated
ions was reduced by fouling
and abrasion of the electrode
needle.
• Ambient conditions may
cause ions to be absorbed by
metals in the vicinity and
affect discharge capability.
• A problem was detected with
the pump motor.
• A problem was detected with
the linear scale wiring to the
DIO PCB.
• A problem was detected with
the HDC and DIO board
encoder values.
• The capping count exceeded
the preset value.
• A problem was detected with
the ink IC chip information.
• The sub tank float sensor
detected the limit.
• A failure occurred while
supplying ink to the sub tank.
• The required negative
pressure cannot be
maintained. (On the positive
side)

• Turn off the power on the machine and
turn it on after a while.
the Power"(P. 34)
• Refer to the instruction manual for the
ionizer and clean the electrodes.
• Remove any conductors or discharge
devices close to the ionizer.
• Turn off the power on the machine and
turn it on after a while.
the Power"(P. 34)
• Replace and clean the cap absorber,
then reset the count.
Replacement"(P. 147)
1.
Check to confirm that the IC chip was
inserted correctly.
2.
Turn off the power on the machine and
turn it on after a while.
the Power"(P. 34)
3.
