Installation
Outside Lifts require a vehicle that can accept a
Class 2 or 3 hitch. The vehicle should be wired
with a standard 4 connector trailer wiring.
If you are not sure about the vehicle and
hitch capability, contact a local hitch installer
or you can visit web sites of a hitch company.

Be sure to use a hitch installer that is reputable,
insured, and capable. Their work reflects directly
on the customer's perception of your mobility
lift installation.
NOTE:
Not every vehicle is capable of
having a hitch installed.

VEHICLE HITCH

1. Calculate the weights of the lift,
mobility device, and, where applicable,
the Swing-Away option.
