CONNECTIONS AND INSTALLATION
■ MB-75 installation
The optional MB-75 flush mount kit is for mounting the
remote controller to a flat surface (less than 18 mm
thick), such as an instrument panel.
1. Using the template on page 83, carefully cut a
hole in the instrument panel, or wherever you plan
to mount the remote controller.
2. Slide the remote controller through the hole, as
shown to the right.
3. Attach the 2 bolts (5 × 8 mm) and spacer supplied
with the MB-75 to both sides of the remote
controller.
4. Attach the clamps on both sides of the remote
controller.
L Make sure that the clamps align parallel to the
transceiver body.
5. Tighten the end bolts on the clamps (rotate
clockwise) so that the clamps press firmly against
the inside of the instrument control panel.
6. Tighten the locking nuts (rotate counterclockwise)
so that the transceiver is securely mounted in
position, as shown to the right.
7. Connect the control cable, and then return the
instrument control panel to its original place.

CAUTION: KEEP the transceiver and microphone
at least 1 meter (3.3 ft) away from your vessel's
