Alarm Categories
This chapter describes recovery procedures to use when an alarm condition or other problem exists
on the MPS system. For information about how and when alarm conditions are detected and reported,

When an alarm code is reported, locate the alarm in
procedures for correcting alarm conditions are described in
Platform and application errors are grouped by category and severity. The categories are listed from
most to least severe:
• Critical Platform Alarms
• Critical Application Alarms
• Major Platform Alarms
• Major Application Alarms
• Minor Platform Alarms
• Minor Application Alarms
