3. Assembling and Installing

Attach the Media Hold Down Unit and the Rigid Media Table

When printing on the rigid media, the media hold down unit and the rigid media tables must be attached.
CAUTION
Procedure

Open the front cover 1.
Locate the hooks on the left and right sides of the media hold down unit, and hook
them onto the pins on the machine.

Never climb or lean on the media hold down unit or the rigid media
tables.
They are not made to support a person. Climbing or leaning on the rigid media
tables may dislodge components and cause a slip or fall, resulting in injury.
