Moisture transfer control

Moisture transfer control is activated and adjusted if Exchanger Control setting in service menu is set to
Variable.
A rotating heat exchanger with variable rotor drive is controlled to decrease moisture transfer over to supply air in
buildings with high or periodically high relative humidity. This function has also indirect impact as defrosting function for
the rotor.
If the moisture transfer control is enabled, the lowest regulating signal from temperature and humidity sensors is con-
trolling the rotor drive.

Defrost level settings

Defrost level settings are active and adjustable if Exchanger Control setting in service menu is set to On/Off.
The unit is equipped with an automatic defrost function that is activated when there is risk of icing in the area around
the heat exchanger. The setting shown in table 2 determines how aggressive the defrosting will be. Default factory de-
frost mode setting is 0.
Note:
The heat exchanger should withstand low outdoor temperatures, but in those cases where icing can occur
please be aware of that the defrost setting will generate an under pressure in the building. Using a fire
place, be aware that there is a possible risk of smoke being extracted into the living areas due to under
pressure if defrosting is activated.
