Safety checks are not a substitute for maintenance,
which includes the preventive replacement of
wearing parts as specified by the manufacturer.
CAUTION
Risk of medical device failure
If the safety checks are not carried out regularly,
the functionality of the medical device may be
jeopardized.
Perform safety checks at the indicated intervals.
1 Check accompanying documents:
– Instructions for use available
2 Check that the product is in perfect condition:
– Labels complete and legible
– No deformation of the arm system and
loosening of parts
– No paint damage, cracks in plastic parts
– Check the arm system (central axis, swivel
arm, spring arm) for collision damage
(welding seams free of cracks)
3 Check the components and accessories for
completeness according to the instructions for
use.
