SNMP-Traps
SNMP-Traps are system messages, sent via SNMP-protocol to
different clients. On following events, EPC NET 24x will dispatch
a SNMP-Trap:

3.6 Syslog
Syslog messages are simple text messages transmitted to a
syslog server using UDP. Linux OS regularly have a syslog
daemon installed, e.g. syslog-ng. For Windows there are some
freeware tools available.
On following events, EPC NET 24x will send a syslog
