Insert the bearing pin (1) into the recess of the draft shield .

Place the draft shield cover on the draft shield .

5.8.2 Optimizing a Filter Weighing Pan with a Metal Ring Draft Shield for
Left-handed Users
Requirements
The metal ring draft shield has been mounted .
Procedure
Lift the draft shield cover from the metal ring draft shield and turn .
t
Pull out the bearing pin (1) from the underside of the draft shield cover and

insert into the opening on the opposite side .
Place the draft shield cover on the metal ring draft shield .
t
Loosen the screw (1) on the metal ring draft shield and turn all parts of the draft
t
shield in the direction of the arrows by 90° .
Retighten the screw .

Connecting the Electronics Module

Procedure
Connect the connection cable to the electronics module's weighing module
t
connection .
Connect the other end of the connection cable to the weighing module's
t
electronics module connection .
To lock the connection cable: Lock the plugs of the connection cable onto both
t
connections with two clicks in each case .
NOTICE Damage to the device due to incorrect connection!
t
Check the correct fit of the plug contacts .
t
There should be no tension on the connection cable, e .g . do not install
t
directly against a wall .
