Electrical Setup

The wiring is the same for all seven linear axis types. Therefore please see different wiring charts and drawings for
each different cable type, such as encoder, power and hall sensor, and temperature cable.
You will also find a list of all commonly used encoder options and their specific wiring, which can be ordered for
each slider ex works.
Furthermore, please be aware that special electrical wirings will be documented separately by adding additional
documents to the manual enclosed in the box. Otherwise, you will find the special wiring list indicated on your final
product drawing, which is part of the order process.
In case you are unable to find any explanation to your encoder option or any other wiring option that comes with
your OMRON EUROPE B.V. linear motor axis, please contact your local OMRON representative.
Do not, under any circumstances, set up the linear slider before you are certain that you
have the correct wiring diagram matching the linear slider in front of you. Make sure that
you understand the wiring system.

Encoder Options

You can select several different brands and types of amplifier in order to operate your OMRON EUROPE B.V. lin-
ear motor axis. The accuracy and environmental requirements also differ from application to application. To satisfy
all of these aspects you can currently select among 5 different encoder options. A list of the relevant options, cate-
gorized according to their main properties, is given below:
