About the Backlight
The average service life of the GT30 backlight is 50,000 hours (at room temperature,
normal humidity, and 24 VDC). ("Service life" refers to the period over which the
brightness diminishes by half, and does not mean that the backlight no longer lights at
all.) If the backlight has become dim, it should be replaced with a replacement backlight
(sold separately).
